aoe ii expansion vista

Anyone get weird colors in AOE II?
Anyone know of a fix or setting i might need to change?

Heh, I just played it for the first time today and was amazed at the crappy graphics and hideous colours.
This never happened under XP and I've tried different drivers.
The funny thing is I got the preview for the fantastic looking Prey game to work last night without a hitch and that is far more graphics intensive.

It comes and goes. Sometimes when i pause the game , it will change to these horrific colors and sometimes it wont.
Could not get the prey demo to run...some problem with open GL.(ATI Drivers?)
